After years of being blocked by Austria, Bulgaria and Romania finally get membership to the Schengen area allowing passport-free movement in most EU countries (and a few associated ones)
In a Paris McDonald's today: a man in his 60s enters, fires several shots into a customer's head and chest, killing him, and hangs around for police to arrest him without resistance.

X-Twitter publishes new ToS. Previously, users posting content granted licence to Twitter to reuse for "sole purpose" of benefiting from Twitter's service.
New one: users grant X worlwide licence to reuse, transform content for just about any use, *without payment*.
