Hooboy. Collin Price is not a name I knew before today. Biggest catcher I’ve personally seen since Mauer. Kid is a UNIT. With massive long levers and a swing slower than some flights I’ve been on, lol. Still, this intrigues me. What say you @eephustosser.bsky.social? Anything there?

This my first time looking at Bastidas. I understand he’s 26 and not a “real” prospect anymore, and the swing might be a bit long. He might be a AAAA guy. But…I like him anyway. Even though he K’ed here.

I’m not here to tell anyone how to do their jobs (read: hobby, for most of them) but man, back when I was blogging full time about the Astros, going almost 24 hours without having any real idea who the Astros were sending/receiving (either) in a trade would’ve been inconceivable.

I’ve been striking out left and right trying to get folks to review our first novel’s blurb, so I’m just gonna post it here in the hopes someone who follows me might be able to let me know if they think it’s effective and, if not, what they might change. I appreciate y’all!

Almost five years in the making. What a journey. We’re not at the finish line just yet, there’s still all the nitty gritty business stuff getting ready for official publication, but…we finished our final editing pass today! Final word count for our debut novel, The Major Arcana, is 199,104 words.
