I’m Impressed your first sock is so many colors. I’ve been knitting socks for years and have just ventured into two color colorwork socks. It looks amazing. Congrats

Survey 123. You should be able to collect points and lines or comments about specific points and lines

Is that a hue shift I spy? I’ve been working on mine since 2023 and keep getting distracted

You could do a helical sock to mellow them out or combine it with a neutral in a stranded colorwork kinda thing.

Yes you can, just make sure they’re the right size (mini, small, large)

Do you have a pattern? I recognize the skull/snowflake motif, but I’m not quite comfortable making the rest up as I go along. I have a friend that would LOVE this hat. A couple of friends actually…

Grey squirrels do run rampant in my area of NC. Not so sure about Christmas ferns though

I’ve done this by double wrapping a knit stitch, then slipping that stitch on the next three rows.

It is!

I have moments that I think I’m a genius when I get a lil bit of python to work. Same feeling I suppose. I got over the ‘I’m an artist’ feeling when I dropped out of art school.

I did not know it could require them. Now if only it would prompt me to share pattern info within. lol

Also look forward to seeing the progress and final product. It’ll be awesome

I LOVE these socks. I added them to my growing list. You are lucky to have a friend that loves you enough to make them

That’s gorgeous

The sock itself is Jo Torr’s vanilla sock, but the texture is a combo of a couple of patterns. Thanks for the reminder

They are amazing and I am thankful everyday for them.

My favorite yarn store is both a yarn store and independent book store (and coffee shop). They are throwing a giant party and I am HERE for it.

Awesome compared to ArcMap. Very Awesome compared to Smallworld. Haven’t used QGIS (smallish town, I’m lucky they’re all in for ANY GIS) so I can’t compare, but I think it’ll be worth it. Quirks sure, but it quits on me far less than ArcMap #gischat

Another vote for more texture

I feel like I’m doing good if I get a picture of the yarn labels. I’ve tried journaling on paper, and as much as I love pens (sharing the RSVP love too) I just can’t stick with it. Different strokes 😃
