So my mine and my mom’s mother day tradition is to go to the Western NC Yarn Crawl. We only went to four stores, but it was a great day that has brightened our spirits and refreshed our (ok mostly my) yarn stash.

I got excited that there was another sock pattern named for trains, and then I realized you knit them on the train. Train baby socks for reference (also knit with leftover yarn)

Green is my favorite color. My first sweater was green. But my favorite green was these bamboo pop socks. Combination of two patterns. Started waiting for an MRI and finished during a hospital visit. Ah caring for sick parents. #showmeyourknits #knitsky

It’s knit in triangles, then sewn into hemispheres, then sewn onto a 22” yoga ball. I make maps for a living so it’s the PERFECT project for me, I’m just having issues with the intarsia amid chronic migraines. Here’s the shop sample
