Good to see that Kelly Cates and Stephen Warnock are on MOTD duty tonight to cover the game at Anfield.

VvD and Konate had a good night, elementary mistakes.

It would indeed but the other tax increases were designed to cover the cost of the cap's removal so you either put more in the kitty or reduce the amount of revenue the budget proposals will raise.

I guess they're not going to be thrilled about tonight's mauling!

The news didn't discuss the tourism tax so I'll have to read further, but I had heard that the rate would be set locally and spent locally so it's a question of levels and whether they're limited in what it can be spent on.

I agree with removing the 2 child cap, but wonder whether there ought to be a maximum figure of kids per family that qualify for benefit - perhaps set at 5.

I still feel it was wrong to freeze the basic rate threshold.

You definitely aren't missing anything if all their stores are like the one I've been in.

I bought a lot of my firsts from Smiths, both for school/university/work and for leisure/pleasure ... and 200+ years of service just disappear unless you're at a railway station or airport terminal.

I'll avail myself of more budget information and its implications later. I gather that the two child benefit limit is to be scrapped and there's something about high value properties.

I've no problem with increasing tax on some forms of betting. Why not all gambling - I don't count bingo or the lottery as gambling although maybe some do it excessively - showing the power of the horse racing lobby amongst others?

I use the NHS app to order prescriptions, much easier and you can tell when it's been authorised.

But yes, phone queuing is just not funny and can take ages. Vital that people are able to contact their GP quickly and easily. Mine do triage online, limited each day so keyboard hitting at 8am needed.

Anything goes then. 😆

True. He'd be a nightmare to live with imo.
November 25, 2025 at 10:12 PM
Norwegian rules snowball fights, the international standard? 🤣

I can't say I'd lose any sleep over that. At least he's regularly away from home.
November 25, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Yes I have, but the ones I've had didn't involve too many illicit throws just the normal trying to catch someone unawares or out of position. 😆

Is he ever anything else?
November 25, 2025 at 9:21 PM
Ah ha, that's how you play! 😂

I can't remember the last time I saw him happy about anything.
November 25, 2025 at 8:30 PM
How would VAR judge that? 😂

Unfair advantage for Bodo ... unless any of the Juventus team come from colder/higher climes.

Perhaps they could try ice hockey or curling. 🤣

Ideal conditions, fresh and a nice slippy artificial pitch. 😂
November 25, 2025 at 7:40 PM
If he's still doing it. I think it was because those accounts weren't earning him any money.
November 25, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Me too.

He supposedly had/has a policy to deactivate/delete dormant accounts so mine will probably hit the dust eventually without me raising a finger.
November 25, 2025 at 2:21 PM
Agreed. I haven't logged on since the end of last season and have no plans to do so - although I haven't deleted my account because that would involve logging in and proving that I was an adult.
November 25, 2025 at 11:38 AM
I agree, I was trying to make a point before someone chose to launch into him.

The defence can easily be caught out or exposed, sometimes not helped by the midfield, as Everton showed a few times from wide positions - the goal being the obvious example - so you can understand his caution at times.
