Well, about 900 years ago this castle was part of a chain of similar ones, made under a common pattern, to protect the eastern border of the kingdom (as the article, in Spanish, explains) the one just demolished was the last one remaining of the whole thing.

Plus he wasn’t just a puppy. He was already “his” dog and they’ve been out hunting together before going to Troy, so add at least another couple of years.

O el sable es para cortar (aunque alguna vez pueda pinchar) y la espada es para pinchar (aunque alguna vez, sobre todo las anchas, puedan cortar). La caballería prefiere cortar y seguir adelante porque si se paran, mueren. De ahí que les gusten los sables.

O el sable es para cortar (aunque alguna vez pueda pinchar) y la espada es para pinchar (aunque alguna vez, sobre todo las anchas, puedan cortar). La caballería prefiere cortar y seguir adelante porque si se paran, mueren. De ahí que les gusten los sables.
A ver, no deja de ser el papel que le paga el chalet mientras dedica el tiempo libre a hacer papelillos que le llenen como actor pero no la cuenta corriente. Un truco más viejo que el hilo negro

Y algunos (Alemania) lo “suben” con trucos como “arreglar este puente es gasto militar porque tan y como está ahora no pasa un tanque”, no por comprar más armas ni reclutar más tropa

A Soviet soldier was able to disobey an order to fire nuclear missiles which he thought was not proper. Can’t an American one refuse to shoot at civilian ships in a way that is clearly against centuries of maritime protocol?

A ver, cuando se crea el seguro obligatorio de jubilación en 1919 la esperanza de vida en España estaba en los 33/35 años (vale que por la mortalidad infantil desaforada). Todos los países la ponían más o menos a la edad en la que se morían los que llegaban a adultos. Más de lo mismo

Yes, and the democracy we’ve got in Spain is pretty good, even with much to improve. Which isn’t an obstacle for what I commented above. Not many dictators’ families get to keep the stolen proceeds AND living in their formerly tyrannized country.

Didn’t it? Said successor ruled until retirement, his son is doing the same grift, and the children of Franco’s toadies are still in control of all the main companies in the country. They even got a general amnesty and didn’t have to even admit ever doing anything wrong.

¿Dudas de si es o no terrorismo? Bien fácil es, en vez de “es hijo de la alcaldesa del PP” lee “es hijo de la alcaldesa de Bildu”. Sabemos todos qué habrían dicho la prensa y la judicatura en el segundo caso.

If you think the attack on Pearl Harbor wasn’t a crime (and mind you, it was on a military base) then this one also was not a crime. Wars have been fought over mere customs inspections, and this was a full fledged attack
