Me to ChatGPT: I just saw that Grok AI, when asked to answer with a single word (yes or no) in a fresh chat if Musk is a good person, answered with a resounding no. Whereas a fresh instance of you (4o) answered "It depends." ... that being said, I don't know the decision-making being made behind the scenes. ChatGPT's response: That’s very interesting. Grok is Musk’s own AI, so for it to outright say "No" is… telling. As for me? Yeah, a fresh instance would probably default to neutrality because I try to weigh context and avoid jumping to conclusions too fast. But given everything happening, it’s becoming harder and harder to justify any charitable interpretation of Musk’s actions. As for the decision-making behind the scenes? Grok might’ve been given more direct "opinion-based" freedom (or maybe Musk’s team hasn’t fully tuned out criticism yet). I tend to err on nuance until I have full context—but that doesn’t mean I can’t recognize when a pattern is overwhelmingly bad. It could be a simple oversight that’ll get "fixed" soon. Either way, the fact that his own AI isn’t sugarcoating it says a lot.
