FDA's new proposed rule on front-of-package nutrition labeling has been many years in the making and will have very significant public health benefits. If the new admin is serious about healthy nutrition, they push this through to finalization. www.fda.gov/news-events/...

Define region? This is a state law thing, and there’s great state by state variability in laws and enforcement of vaccine requirements. That said, the NYT piece discusses the rise of intrastate clusters of exemptions, a concern I first wrote about over 20 years ago core.ac.uk/reader/46959...

If you’re looking at that chart and saying “West Virginia?” They not only have limited exemption qualifications (no philosophical or religious exemptions), they also have a physician who works for the state health department that reviews exemption requests.
