I attempted figure painting for the first time in almost 20 years & while this looks a little crazy, I'm weirdly proud of it?

I don't care that this isn't the best picture, but I made this. I am super fucking proud if it. It took me the better part of three weeks to finish.

This is Rosie. Two weeks ago, we had to say goodbye after years of health struggles. I want to be able to say something nice or sentimental, but the truth is I'm still too sad to say anything productive about this.

I miss my dog. I am still sad. She was the best dog and I miss her so much.
