A truly heartbreaking day for Kathmandu and the country. Young people took to the streets to raise their voices, voices that deserved respect and attention. Instead, innocent and precious lives were lost. A sad day for us all. May we find strength to heal and recover together 🖤🙏

Devastated to hear about the massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake off Russia’s east coast, triggering tsunami alerts across the Pacific, from Japan and Hawaii to the US West Coast.

Thoughts with everyone affected and evacuated. Hoping for safety as the situation unfolds. 🌍🙏 #Earthquake #Tsunami

Despite limited resources, many LDCs have submitted ambitious NDCs, informed by 1.5°C pathways—most w/ partial costing &dependent on international support. Implementation is a top priority. We urge others to raise ambition & submit NDCs in time, so #COP30 can focus on solutions, not on filling gaps.

On this #WorldEnvironmentDay 2025, let’s unite to #BeatPlasticPollution — “प्लास्टिक प्रदूषण अन्त्य गरौं” 🌍

Let this day be a moment of commitment to reduce plastic pollution—starting with simple choices like saying no to plastic bags and bottled water.

Glaciers are melting. Climate risks are rising.

We echo the #SagarmathaCallForAction from the Sagarmatha Sambaad.

🌍 Act now to protect our mountains, people & planet.

Save the mountains. Save our future.
