I just found out Dr. Goodall passed away. She had an incredible impact on me growing up. I was fortunate enough to meet her & get almost an hour of one on one time with her. When I'm in a bad place, I hear her say I have a rainbow in me. I'm so thankful to have lived when you did, and I'll miss you.

I'm definitely not the illustrator for the studio, but I try to sketch out my ideas to give myself a visual to reference while designing new plush. Already have to make some pattern tweaks from the prototype, but I think they'll be cute once I'm finished :3

We stayed with some friends in Columbus for Sekaicon & they surprised us with a light cube after we fell in love with theirs. Under the ocean? Check. In a volcano? Check. Beautiful Aurora? Triple check. We've used it every day since. The video doesn't capture just how lovely it is in person.

My grandma worked in a flower shop for several years and when I'd go with her the moment I walked in and was engulfed in the scent it melted my anxiety away. I wanted to capture that memory here.

I decided to try growing peppers from store bought ones & am kind of shocked by the # of seeds that germinated. They'll get thinned as the stronger ones establish themselves, then transfered to a bucket. I'm so desperate to be in a house with a yard, but for now I'll do what I can. #indoorgardening
