I am not a lights on helmet guy, but I do think fork mount lights are too low & obscured by bike from certain angles.

I think there's a company that makes braze on light mounts though. I used a modified one to mount a light mount to my wife's bike basket.

My varia has one and it just whips ass compared to all my other bike light rubber band mounts.

As strong as the pull is to use the off-season to master bread baking, it was not as good for my mental health as I had hoped.
