I lost my first steam account from 2006 because of a hacked email account and I was bitter about it for a while so the purchases on my new account are weirdly spaced out. BG2 only for nearly a full year is so funny, I must have been really hankering for it

Matt Levine's newsletter today, on Republic offering cash settled forwards on SpaceX. This seems to me to be the closest thing a company can do to print their own cash. Matt himself notes that 10 years ago this shit would be shut down. Today, they'll probably get away with it. It's 100% a rug pull.
