It’s been a tradition during our 15yr friendship that my friend Andy and I meet up for hot chocolate to celebrate our December birthdays. Always fun - lots of bonkers conversation and a heap of laughs. Cake/ hot choc enjoyed and we spent an hour wandering/birding too.

Brutal op and recovery. Still not quite there yet. Knee is strong but shin/lower leg muscles still not realigned fully so pain issue there. Not had a full nights sleep since
Have to be patient. TLKR is no walk in the park that’s for sure.

Needed something indulgent, easy and tasty for my evening meal. This hit the spot 😋

Felt more miserable than upbeat today but a belated birthday pressie in the form of a rather fine bottle of Italian red has helped lift me a bit 😁🍷 - will be enjoyed over Christmas no doubt ♥️

Finally the monumental task of wrapping Christmas ( and birthday!) presents and then getting them into bags/sacks is done 🙌 😮💨🎄🧑🎄🎁

Had such a lovely morning. Birthday breakfast with my daughter, son in law and grandaughter 🥰
We then went on to a fab Christmas art market.
My SIL also treated to me to this whopper of a sausage roll to take home for my dinner. Pork, bacon and cranberry 😋 - it’ll last me a couple of days 😂

Missed out on last night’s SuperMoon (Cold Moon) due to cloud/heavy rain here. However it looked stunning early this morning. The sunrise was/is glorious too..only 3c at present- all helping to take my mind off my weary bones. …and it’s Friday 🙌

Faint Aurora 🙌🙌 the nearly full moon isn’t helping. Taken through phone camera -not that visible ( yet) to the naked eye here…Could improve!
