Breakfast enjoyed. We are going to brave the storm and go do our favourite riverside walk into the village through the woods behind our hotel .The reward will be coffee/treat at the quirky little cafe there ( former station)

Arrived safely in Scotland. Smooth journey that started at 7:15am. Lots of cosy comforts to enjoy and a chill now before Ann and I go for our evening meal.Good to be back here. Cuppa and the view. Couldn’t possibly waste this sunshine/blue sky….went for a gentle stroll and took myself for a nice cheese scone/chutney and pot of tea🥰

So sad that Martin Carthy has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. It’s a devastating, cruel illness to live /deal with. Thank goodness he has loving family/friends around him. I feel very privileged to have met him many times- always looks dapper, always smiling, chatty and up for a hug - bless him x

Got our tickets secured ♥️ So looking forward to this. After seeing Sailor Swift( aka Pete Morton) back in November we just have to go see him again - one of the best nights ever.
