Had all the family round for my aunts 88th birthday today.
Only ever missed two during my lifetime, 1) I was about to get married & was prepping our house and 2) I had a collapsed lung.
We used to go to hers, now they come to ours. Precious times.

SPCA Cook Islands have fired the manager, who was doing amazing work, so they can become a kill shelter.
He wouldn’t allow it.
Chloe will be top on the kill list because she is so timid.
I feel so helpless, I am filled with anger and disappointment. 💔

He was full of puppy naivety and joy. This year, he’s developed that edge and weariness. It’s sad.
I am grateful to the man who looks out for them, feeds and flea treats them.
And lastly my girl, off the streets and in a home.

They have a look in their eyes, I’d call it worried, and cautious.
