"The long-term unemployment number is a post-pandemic high and a level typically only seen during periods of economic turmoil..."

"When he said, 'I have the highest poll numbers of any Republican for the last 100 years,' that wasn’t just wrong, it was the opposite of reality:

At this point in their terms, every other GOP president since the dawn of modern polling has had more support than him."

Trump and his team pretend he’s riding a wave of popularity (but he’s not)
To defend Trump’s third term ambitions, the GOP keeps pointing to polls, which are a) irrelevant, and b) less impressive than they claim.

Don’t just say DEI as if it’s a bad word. Spell it out.

Say diversity, which is the lifeblood of American society & culture & innovation.

Say equity, which a just society should pursue.

Say inclusion, because decent people believe in increasing belonging, not isolating people who are different.

Ida Wells was born enslaved but refused to live in fear. She wielded the power of the press to expose America’s greatest terror—lynching. When the truth made her a target, she didn’t back down. She co-founded the NAACP, fought for Black women’s voting rights, and left a legacy of resistance!
