Welcome to today's practice. Trying to improve my tremolo with The Isbister Waltz by Metis fiddler John Arcand. Someday I'll have room to set up a better mic.

Here's today's old tune. It's called "Old Piss," supposedly refers to a civil war officer, and comes from the Bayard collection "Dance to the Fiddle, March to the Fife." I learned it from Mike Compton. Been a very busy week without much music so I thought I'd get back to some.

One of my happy places: Tettegouche I think or Temperance River up the North Shore of Superior.
