I think this is wrong in a very important way. Yes they would be happy to use protest violence as a pretense for more authoritarianism but they are also happy to carry on unopposed by violence, they are just happy to be making liberals mad and people suffer. There is no singular "point"

This number at this point in time is kind of a hope ender for me, not sure why observing short timeline microtrends in small voter groups gives a boost of optimism to so many others. ~47% of people are out in another universe.
