Unfortunately I don’t. These were brought back from holiday.

Fortunately our most prolific flaggers are contained the other side of a large hill. Unfortunately they’ve concentrated their efforts on a bypass roundabout, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen Christmas lights on that so i think they’ll be around until they’re in tatters.

Had that years and years ago, every morning on my commute into Manchester Victoria when the Boddingtons brewery was there.

Very nice. The P7 was an excellent bike. A mate of mine still has his 26” (2011 I think).

I definitely preferred a more upright position for sightseeing around the Netherlands. This year I bought an old Sunn Crosss with moto-style riser bars and it was perfect for that. Towed a dog trailer nicely and had the off road capability in case I needed it.

Regarding 700x40c on the Escapade, I used to use WTB Nano tyres and found them really capable on both gravel and light mud, yet they also zipped along quite nicely on the road. Whereas the Cascade definitely feels more like an MTB on the road (albeit a better position).

Nice. I think the first prototype of the Cascade was based heavily on an earlier Solaris frame design.

I’d say so yes. Although I think shorter than a modern hard tail.

Here’s the Cascade on the mountain bike trails of Arnhem after a visit to their fantastic mountain bike museum.

Oh, which one? I mainly got it because it suits knobbly bridleways, which is what most of my “gravel” riding had become, and for long rides I prefer the hand positions available on drops. But it’s also a riot on twisty woodland single track. My mountain bike is a Swarf Contour - 853 full suspension

700x40 on the older Cotic Escapade, 29x2.4 (does that count!) on a Cotic Cascade.

This happens so often to me. I’m not naturally someone who will talk to people I don’t know in the street, but the cargo bike triggers (positive) conversations most times I’m out in town. They’re usually not “cyclists”, just people who are interested, want to know more and can see the potential.

Ah! Apologies to the driver then 😃

Also, lovely that the driver of that parked car on the right is forcing pedestrians off the pavement towards that puddle and the cycleway.

Lovely! Will the section in today’s photo also have a red asphalt layer?

On the other hand in the new Apple series Down Cemetery Road, Ruth Wilson’s character certainly isn’t. Also Wilson can REALLY ride a bike.
