From the OED app. (a) I don’t like the phrasing of their example sentence for the correct definition. (b) I’m not at all happy that they’ve surrendered to millions upon millions of incorrect uses - wring is just wrong. (c) But I’m glad they’re rather snootily identifying the perpetrators.
