I mean, yes, there are specific situations where any type of bear (or marsupial whose name sometimes has the word “bear” appended to it), however docile and confrontation-avoidant in a normal scenario, would be more dangerous than most (unarmed) human males.

My cat is in this picture and she doesn’t like it. I dose her heavily with gaba prior to every visit and she can only really be examined under sedation. She’s drawn blood more than once. Reality is cats just do that sometimes and good vets take it in stride.
