Good point.

Thought experiment: If YOU were the victim of a cyberattack, could you tell Nova Scotia Power you're just going to estimate your power bill for the next 8 months and settle accounts, interest-free, after?
This is an incompetent company. They have a huge responsibility that they’re just dumping on citizens. Not one of their ‘customers’ would be excused by a corporation if they experienced major life disruptions and expected financial leniency.

Time for public ownership.

The increasing exasperation Trump and his sock puppets are showing Canada suggest that they genuinely believed we'd meekly acquiesce to whatever they demanded and our resistance flummoxes them. So keep that boycott rolling. Be nasty.

We should first come for the richest person in Congress.
Wake up America!

Donald Trump is pursuing a coordinated effort to destroy our democracy.

It is up to all of us to stop him.

And that includes corporate media like Disney/ABC and tech companies bending the knee.

It may be someone else today.

But it will be you tomorrow.

don't worry about networking up the ladder, esp if you're young. don't try to reach for people you already see as having 'made it'.

I mean, if you end up working with them, cool! but put your energy focusing collaborating with those next to you. you're surrounded by endless 'I knew them when--'

Perfect time for Nova Scotia to open up methane ("natural gas") exploration, just as the world is getting off the fuel.
“California is so far using forty per cent less natural gas to generate electricity than it did in 2023, which is the single most hopeful statistic I’ve seen in four decades of writing about the climate crisis.”
