This is Doobie on part of her new platform system. She's now able to safely access my son's loft bed, and they are both very happy about it :)
Very pretty tortie with white toes sits perched on a high platform near the top of an open door. Her eyes are big and her expression slightly incredulous.

Corner of my livingroom, crowded with shelves filled with books and knick-knacks and pictures and brass armadillos. There is a low table decorated with a red cloth and tinsel garland, and a little Christmas village laid out. In the centre of the pic, sort of camouflaged, is a small grey cat looming over the village, casually grooming a paw.

The GST tax break and rebate...can someone who understands how it works explain how it's paid for? (Honest question!) I'd like to be able to confirm/debunk what I'm being told by the anti-JT crowd here:
Screenshot of two fb comments: I am not in favor of the rebate. Mainly because the government of Canada is borrowing the money to do this rebate, so we will be paying interest on it untill (sic) sucha time as they pay it off, which may be never If they pay it off within 15yo, which is highly unlikely it will cost the Canadian tax payer $313 including the initial $250.

Adding my lil man Simo to the parade of bluesky cats...I've been on this site for only a few hours but I've seen so many great cat pics. Nice way to calm the soul for a bit :)
