I caught whooping cough back in the 50’s. I was about 6 and I still remember struggling to breathe. Why would anyone let this avoidable horrible disease happen to a child.

I steam them for a minute or two and then drizzle some type of sauce thin sauce over them.

I love having a garden full of birds and try to work with them. I don’t know what it is about lettuce that is so enticing.

Agree. It has been warm and no rain. Difficult for dry farmers sowing their crops.

I don’t understand why there is even a question about him coming back to the USA. It has been proved that he is an innocent man and should not have been sent in the first place.

Once they are larger I will probably net the whole bed. It has some baby broccoli in it and cabbage moth will be a problem. I use hoops of 12mm black poly to support the netting.

Even if the WH selects who will attend these briefings - remember there is a world outside the USA. Journalists from all over the world will still be reporting anything that affects their respective countries.

I trim the bottom leaves as the plant grows. That makes the weight of the plant much more manageable. Good luck.
