Currently I make video games. For money. You may have even played some of them.

I should state for the record, I am not Ed's mum.

And all it took was banning short-term rentals from ruining entire neighbourhoods.

Interesting how none of these articles you link on daily hive ever mention that.

Don't want to attribute a success to BC NDP policies by accident I guess.

Turns out all Linux needed to become usable for the average person was a whole company of competent professional software developers working on it.

Who knew?

18 for me. No AOL & no waterbed because I didn't grow up in North America. Was dialing up BBSs on my Amiga then internet access at University.
Also, haven't used a check book in over 2 decades while I hear of Americans still using them in the present.

I want to state for the record, I've been a software dev for 25 years now & have yet to develop yet another issue tracker or todo list.
Still plenty of time though!

"Can you fix my computer/tablet/phone?"
I'm a software developer & I've been building computers for over 3 decades so yeah I probably can fix whatever problem with whatever device given some time to tinker with it.

Do I want to? Unless you actually gave birth to me, no.
No I do not. Please go away.

Goes all the way to London, ENGLAND across an entire ocean but doesn't cross the 49th parallel & do a show in Vancouver, British Columbia?
For shame Alex, for shame!

(seriously though keep doing what you do. You're a joy to behold and if you do make it up here I will tell everyone to see your show)

Meanwhile New England is actually powered today by Hydro-Québec www.hydroquebec.com/clean-energy...

Turns out, different places in the world benefit from different types of renewables. Who knew?
Hydro-Québec, New England’s clean energy partner
Hydro-Québec has been selling clean and renewable power to New England since the 1980s. To date, we’ve delivered over 100 billion kilowatthours of electricity to the market.

Stephanie are you referring to Helldivers 2 or the actual Starship Troopers: Extermination game?

I get that you're being facetious but as someone who was old enough to be in University in 1997, people actually said exactly this.
Hell some people still say this even now 28 years later.
People are allowed to like different things!
