There are a couple of place names in Taiwan that end in -kah (-chia), written as 甲: 6 kah (la̍k-kah 六甲), 52 kah (Gōo-tsa̍p-lī-kah 五十二甲), 1000 kah (Tshian-kah 千甲).
It's a unit for area and might be a Dutch loanword - likely from "akker" ("field") 😀😀
