2020s Penelope, pre-digital, Drawn and colored by hand, hadn't really figured out how to draw plus sized body types yet, I had probably just decided recently at this time to give her slime hair and beans. Her sweater references one of my favorite horror games Yume Nikki. Rainy Fall Daydream, I wanna say this one was, like, 2021 maybe. Even though it isn't perfect, it established what direction I wanted Penelope's design to go in, and I still use it as reference sometimes. You can probably google how to do the rain thing, but I feel it distorted the colors more than I like. I can't promise I'll ever do this, but I've thought about remastering this one. Here it is without the rain filter, see how much more the colors pop? Also that mushroom is a reference to Parasect. I used the photoshop leaf brush to create that tree, it looks okay, but it would probably look better if I did it fully by hand. It's Kumi! Named for the actress Kumi Mizuno, a Showa era Toho actress known most famously for Invasion of the Astro Monsters, it was a nickname I gave to my Hisuian Goodra in Pokémon Legends Arceus. I wanted to subtly reference indigenous Ainu designs with her dress while making it something different as well. Her clothes have Mercury motifs. I wanted to make her distinctively a different shape and color from Penelope so she wasn't just a rehash. I think of her as being more timid than Penelope, they're probably friends. This background was inspired by one of the things that kindled my interest in taking my art seriously, instead of just thinking of them as "doodles" which were Dr. Seuss's Midnight Paintings and Solar Sands's video on them (which I drew the first ever drawing of Penelope after watching.) The Mushrooms are another reference to the Game, Pokémon Legends Arceus, but also, I like that psychedelic and Alice inspired mushroom art.

2020 Phone Drawing of Penelope, My phone's screen is really dark, thus why the colors are so saturated. This one got 1 like, suprisingly. Early attempt at drawing Penelope on my computer with a Drawing Tablet and Clip Studio Paint Penelope relaxing and reading from 2024, drawn in Photoshop, I love this piece it has so much personality, body language can add so much to a drawing. I originally wanted there to be shelves next to her, but ended up going in a Tarot inspired direction as I was (and still am) learning to read Tarot. PKMN was an acronym for Pokémon used in the Gameboy Games, but this is probably common knowledge that I needn't mansplain. The book she's reading is modeled after "Secrets of the Psalms" and is called "Secrets of the TMs" can you tell that I was falling down the occult rabbit hole at this time? I wanted her Substitute plush to look well loved, like a stuffed animal someone had had their whole life. Finally, 2025, This drawing of Penelope in a playboy bunny-style Lopunny outfit was based on a doodle I did on Easter a couple of years before, as well as the bunny outfit in the furry game Atlyss, this isn't one I tend to feel comfortable showing people because her whole butt is out, I even marked the original post, which led it to getting no traction, but I don't care much, the flavor text on this one is really funny, but I improvised it hours before posting the drawing. I love the diamond shaped pallet too. Also, even outside of a lewd context, fishnets are really fun to draw, I encourage the reader to try to at some point. This was one of the few things I drew digitally last year, I really should do it more, but you know how it is with creativity...
