Somehow, the Fridays For Future Russia account got suspended on Instagram. We are not active as a movement right now, but the situation can change. We spent a lot of time building the platform and risking our lives protesting in Russia. This is really disturbing.

I am planning to move to Armenia after I finish my master’s degree.

A really interesting podcast about the influence of genocides against indigenous people and colonization of the Caucasus by the Russian Empire, as well as the Ottoman Empire’s instrumentalization of migration flows to promote their colonial policies. Empires always work together.

My heart breaks every time I get DMs like this. To this day, hundreds of thousands (or even millions) of hidden Armenians live on their own indigenous lands in fear. Please speak up for the rights of indigenous people in Western Armenia (so-called Eastern Turkey).

Went to the Botanical Gardens in Yerevan (and Insect Hotel 😄). It is now under renovation and not everything is open, but I still enjoyed it. I will definitely go again. If this place is taken care of, it might turn out to be something very beautiful and important.
