I finished a new quilt project!

Shit sucks, but we were able to shut out the outside world for a few hours at our second quilting class.

I've been baking klobasneks (often called sausage kolaches) recently, and I'm thrilled with how this batch turned out! #chemistswhocook

I'm having a rough few days. Stress about promotion app, stress about making progress on recent project, and general feelings of blegh. Today, I got word I was not selected for an award I had been hopeful about. BUT, my reissued diplomas came in today, and I'm so thrilled about it! It's a good day!
