This study gives us new insight into the autonomy, technological choices, and maritime lifeways of Late Neolithic communities in the Eastern Adriatic.

2/3 This research, led by our amazing student Sarah, combines scientific rigour with a wide range of analytical methods to uncover how pottery was made and used on the island.

The material on display reveals long-distance connections and hybrid forms, including a Hellenistic-style Issaean cup with a hunting scene (very cool!). A window into Adriatic Iron Age life—developed through joint work with the University of Zadar. #archaeology #Adriatic
