Voting is still open for the executive elections, please make sure you vote. Colleen is an amazing advocate for disabled members. She got my vote and I commend her. A vote for Colleen is a vote for an experienced campaigner who will work very hard to stop the pernicious erosion of disability rights.

The growing activism amongst our NEU members in Wales is something to be proud of. For the second year in a row one of our fabulous Welsh members has been awarded (jointly) the Blair Peach award. Shaz Salim is proactively involved with fighting racism across Wales. Congratulations Shaz!✊

@psc_rct held a very powerful vigil today at Royal Glamorgan Hospital in protest against Israel’s destruction and burning of Kamal Adwan Hospital, the last in northern Gaza. It was great to see so many supporters of Palestine coming out to support the vigil.

I’m speaking at this important meeting on Tuesday evening. More important than ever now that the Labour Party is creating a hostile environment for refugees by “organising the three largest deportation flights in history” what an absolute disgrace this Labour government are 😡 #refugeeswelcome
