Voting is still open for the executive elections, please make sure you vote. Colleen is an amazing advocate for disabled members. She got my vote and I commend her. A vote for Colleen is a vote for an experienced campaigner who will work very hard to stop the pernicious erosion of disability rights.

A 2.8% rise but no extra funding.

That means schools are expected to absorb the cost, pushing budgets to a 15-year low.

Staff cuts. Resource cuts. Still no fix to the recruitment and retention crisis.

We can’t afford this.

International solidarity work is important in the NEU and we do amazing work. To elect executive members who do this work and will continue to organise members for delegations and rallies vote for Liz, Joao and Elise and mostly importantly post the paper immediately!

By slashing welfare for our youngest and most vulnerable, the government is only going to further shut people out of education, employment and training. The government should bolster the opportunities for young people, not pulling the rug from under them with more cuts. neu.org.uk/press-releas...

Last year at women's TUC conference I was devastated for Mariam Elsayeh Ibrahim from the NUJ when we were not allowed to debate her motion supporting Palestinian journalists.

Every news channel has been saying all day the Tate brothers' history is one of misogyny, their return is shady, and the effect on victims traumatic.

AND YET... all of them are standing by to livecast any remark the Tates care to make after landing, live and in full.

You are part of the problem.
