Today is a highlight of IHSD with the 1st PhD dissertation defense (1st photo) since the department was re-established in 2021 and graduating MPH students receiving department awards at the end of the yr celebration (2nd photo with 2 of the awardees)

Posting a week late, but here is Gloria Igihozo, my PhD student, who won 1st place in the Delta Omega poster competition last week for a cash prize and a chance to compete in APHA's Delta Omega competition.
