Earlier this week, I sent a request to review to a researcher who regularly submits to my journal, my request was declined. This morning, they submitted another manuscript with the expectation it will be peer reviewed. 🤐This is part of the problem with peer review. No academic citizenship!

Tonight while walking by a church that has regularly AA mtgs. Pink Floyd’s “Comfortable Numb” was echoing off the church near the entrance. I was relieved that it was a nearby car cranking it.

In letter writing campaign to elected officials, esp. the reTrumplikkkans, (I live in DC so no representation, but I pay taxes) since they are so triggered by TRANS, find as many excuses to use TRANS words. Capitalize and bold the trans prefix:
TRANSport, TRANSaction, TRANSlation, Transform etc.
TRANSport, TRANSaction, TRANSlation, Transform etc.
