I think Karaoke's suggestion is that the response could have been done via some sort of government process, which maybe would be socially "private" (done directly between parties) but hopefully literally "public" (observable, if only on request, by all of us)

"what about collaborations" GREAT question! we need to get rid of the "Contributing Artist" + "Album Artist" concept and bring back features in the filename. And instead of "feat." we should use the more abbreviated "f."

Honestly? I don't think I owe grace universally. I especially don't think I owe it to Dan Ryan of all people. I'm sure that'll give you some pre-formed ideas of who you're talking to when I say that, but it's true and I don't want to pretend like I'm better than that.

oh yeah I have been avoiding installing it on macOS because I have a feeling it's going to be way more annoying and also my macbook is 4-5 years old and I'm mildly concerned it will slow things down
