in isolation I actually think this particular animation looks cool! in practice it’s somehow simultaneously a waste of space with huge padding AND has smaller tap targets that I find more difficult to hit, while also being a visual a11y nightmare

it is kind of funny how conservative the change to Things is on phone since I had a jump scare when I first saw how padded and circular the window edges were on the desktop version
