rion and loena would both need to win to beat rinka, but only need silver to beat isabeau. isabeau has a shot if either amber or mone places lower than fifth AND neither rion or loena places silver or above. i think that's right but the math makes my head spin lol

wait okay let me think it through. amber and mone both need at least fourth place to tie rinka and fifth to tie isabeau. if either of them is in the top five, they'll beat isabeau because they'll win a tie with either rinka or isabeau based on placements

i'm really bad at this stuff but i think isabeau only has a chance if amber, mone and rion all completely bomb the event (since if any two of those qualify, the last spot is likely to go to rinka)

i bet mone is having flashbacks to narrowly losing to amber in the last GP last year due to a step sequence error...

i loved that they had a poster making table. i've never seen that at a competition before, and there were always a lot of people enthusiastically crowded around it and i saw so many more posters in the crowd as the weekend went on. great work from the organizers
