Got pulled over. Realized my tabs were expired. Had just reupped, and had a 1/4oz of the stinkiest buds in my breast pocket. It was a woman cop. Asked for info, I provided, and apologized for my expired tabs. She let me off with a warning.

I'm still shocked to this day I wasn't nailed.

After my call to the cops, I do believe they're right. After the cop being disinterested in helping me start a paper trail, I'm just assuming that the bigot neighbors are right.

They responded with "half of [this town] doesn't agree with your 'lifestyle'". I. Am. Cishet. I am cisgender hetero single mom running away from a DV situation involving a trans person. This is a very delicate and intricate trauma I'm trying to navigate with and for my kids.

I asked them to please tone down the hateful from grandma. They responded with my ex, who doesn't live here. And I said, it's affecting my children. You're setting them up for some awful shit in this community. Please just tone it down....

The landlord is 82 miles away. Not on site. These people act like they own the place. Their family (who don't live here), friends, etc, have more rights to our common areas than I, my children, or my ESA dogs do.

I called the police non emergency line to just to start a paper trail. The officer who called me back flat out told me that no crimes are being committed and that full well within their right to discriminate and harass and intimidate and threaten because it's "political" and "free speech"
