Oh, the uproar when the NDP party in Alberta raised the minimum wage to $15 -7 years ago. At the time, a living wage was $18/hour. Overall businesses survived.
Poverty still exists at $15 with the price of food and rent rising. Work 2 jobs, sure. No time to raise your children. How do we fix this?

An interesting fact from a National Geographic(I believe) "Masaya volcano pumps out more sulphuric oxide in a week than cars in the US do in one year. " 80 eruptions worldwide is almost unfathomable for our climate is Masaya alone is responsible for that much sulphuric oxide.
