Even if it was Tom Hiddleston, if he glittered, I'd have to stake him on principle.

I'm trying to get people to call him dodder in chief. Dodder is a parasitic plant that attaches itself to another plant, doesn't do any work, just sucks out the nutrients and water from the other plant. Plus it looks like his hair.

I guess what started me off is that it isn't just white collar workers being lazy. It's blue collar workers and English learners using ai to figure out what an outline is. I used to completely hate ai, but I've come to see how it can be a useful tool. And now I will bow out.

But if you don't understand the concept, if you've never seen a correct version, you won't learn from failure because you won't know you failed.

I think that the difference is that I'm talking about students who haven't ever outlined. You are talking about people who have much higher skills. I agree that failing is a very useful part of learning. I use this skill quite a lot.

Finally, slightly off topic, many many years ago a professor told me to keep every draft I wrote. I might hit a point where I realize I said something good before, or that I should have taken a different path earlier.

A lazy person is going to find shortcuts with or without ai. But for some of my students, mostly ones that didn't get adequate lessons in high school or ones that are learning English as a new language, ai can be a great help.

I find it depressing if my suitcase gets to travel to more fun places than I do.

I will speak out for my own issues. And, hardest learned, I will pace myself and nurture myself so I can last for the long haul. I will take in the small moments of contentment and happiness, because it's much easier to fight for life if you love it.

I will speak up for Palestinians being devastated by the decisions and actions of conservative Israeli leaders and military. I will speak out because the actions of Israel the country break humanitarian laws. I will speak out against antisemitism - hatred of members of a particular world religion.

I will speak for those who are silenced by fear of deportation. If Kilmar Ábrego García never comes home, I will remember him and his life. Maybe someone will write a book of his life, focusing on life more than death.

It's been 13 years since I've had a cat and I still sleep with my legs in the position my cat preferred. I still wake up thinking "Don't move. It will upset Al (cat)."

It keeps bugging me. I've had people say to me, "Oh. Sarah J. Maas. You're one of those. When I asked them to explain, they didn't. So, what am I? Why are we spottable from space. I should mention I think describing sex is boring so I skip those pages. There's only so much you can say.

Is there a better bunk? Like with kids the top bunk is often the bunk everyone wants.

Thanks. I had forgotten their name. I was hoping it was from an upcoming book. Not that I await new books with baited breath or anything.
