I am lucky enough to be a many generation white cis woman citizen. I will remind people, every day, that transgender people exist. That they are here, enriching the world. That girls who know themselves to be girls are girls. Boys that know themselves to be boys are boys.

I got it. An example. AI could never solve the Kobayashi Maru. Now all I have to do is make my students watch the Chris Pines Star Trek * (yes, there are other more important arguments, but hey, this is a new one at least).

One of my biggest challenges in dealing with Trump's actions is that they bring out the most petty, hurtful part of me. That's not who I want to be. What I deeply admire about Jimmy Carter is his humanitarian work and his commitment to learning and changing.
