After 5 years of not getting the rona, today —while in the carline to pick up my small person— I got it. We get home, I test him—also positive.
Me: “Buddy we actually got Covid so I think we stay home for a bit.”
D: “is it omnomnomicron?”
Me: “🤷🏼‍♀️” I can’t correct him, it was too cute.

Today in “my seven-year-old is really a geriatric in disguise”:

D: “Mama, did you use orange to write “president’s day” on the calendar because the president is orange?”
Me: “…maybe.”
D: “that’s inappropriate.”
Me: “Probably.”

Lundi s’éveille, porté par une symphonie de murmures glissant jusqu’à mon oreille. Échos feutrés, ils content le monde dans la langue du silence. Chaque note m’invite à un voyage intérieur, où ma petite voix écoute l’infime bruissement de l’instant. Belle semaine, à l’écoute de l’essentiel… 💖✨
