Wow, it's almost as if the supposedly crazy conspiracy theory that mainstream media wouldn't touch - that the Kremlin has kompromat on Donald Trump through his ties to pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and this explains his tepid support for Ukraine - is actually true.

Risky... counterproductive ... and if unilateral, it would be illegal, and, it would bring on hatred of the US from Africa & the world for a long long time?

Like threatening to annex your fellow NATO member country, or something (cf Greenland-Denmark).

But it would be BIG wins for China & Russia.

The Chinese govt tried to defend its discraced diplomat who made the death threat against his host country's leader.. www.reuters.com/world/china/...

I won't be surprised if China withdraws him in a week--it's undiplomatic to call for beheading the prime minister of the host country you're in.

The original offensive tweet by China's consul sent as a response to PM Takahashi's stmnt about the existential threat from a Chn war against Taiwan. Mr Consul said sth like: “We have no choice but to cut off that dirty head that wantonly charged in without a moment's hesitation. Are y'all ready?”

I have only seen polite paraphrasings so far, but what the consul said seems akin to what that famous Queen shouted to Alice: 'Off with her head'!

Common currency indeed: today China's consul in Osaka suggested Japan's new Prime Minister Takaichi's head "must be cut off."

Not diplomatic--more hoodlum.

Apparently he is being defended by the Chinese government. Of course. But they'll have to withdraw him, pretend that his time is up somehow?

What country is the payment processed in?

US credit cards abhor foreign trade, so they insist on pre-reporting any use in a foreign country. Both my cards declined my donation.

I need to know the country the payment will look like it is happening in, so I can pre-report to my bank for permission.

Yes. Academic freedom is not only under threat but is being harmed:The megascandal at Sheffield Hallam U has not been rolled up yet -still in court, webpages with research still not restored- and all that is likely the tip of the iceberg of Chinese intimidation at universities in the UK & the world.

@hollywoodreporter.bsky.social : there is a reason why "Dreamy Images More Captivating Than the Story" www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...

The film is clearly propaganda: Reality is, #Kazakh children are being forced to be Chinese, in genocidal boarding schools on a mass scale. Why omit this?

We know the Chinese regime have been cultivating NY city & state politicians, fooling them with United Front "community group" outfits that coerce voters for them. They've been planting spies. And so on.

So, is this the explanation why no NY politicians are stepping up now?
