One weird trick judges don’t want you to know about!

Spot on. Part of what made 2024 so maddening was the media doing everything it could to pretend that trump would not govern as an extremist despite all evidence to the contrary, and then justifying trump’s radical agenda by saying Americans knew what they were voting for.

Unsurprisingly, the same people who think there’s meaningful distance between trump and Greene thought trump and musk had a big falling out earlier this year.

I know he’s already listed his top four favorite films, but we need Pop Leo to name his favorite giallo movies. Has the Pope seen Dario Argento’s Demons (1985)?

Genuinely concerned that this is a sign of the apocalypse

Yeah, “moderately informed” here means alive during the past decade, listened to what the candidates said, and had some common sense. If you were told that “project 2025 was not trump’s policy” on Fox or in politico or Glenn Kessler’s WaPo column, you were actively misinformed.

Again, I’m seeing people baselessly jump to conclusions about the annual (or in some cases biennial) MRI that doctors give to patients young and old, healthy and sick, as part of a routine physical examination.
Trump: I had an MRI and the result was outstanding.

Reporter: Was it your brain?

Trump: I have no idea what they analyzed, but whatever they analyzed, they analyzed it well.

Wow he shouldn’t have put tariffs on those in the first place.

Can’t wait for the NYT defenders to show up for this one

Bootlicking drivel from the media. All of the funding for NPR News should be cut.

It’s a workers’ party now!

Anyway…
It’s not his most pathetic trait (which is his pseudo-intellectual defense of everything trump does under the laughable pretense that he doesn’t actually support trump), but there’s something sad about the impression douthat gives that he would rather be a movie or book critic than a columnist

Also, do we think Ross has seen Immaculate?

“There are tons of documents we haven’t seen, but if the allegation were true, surely something would have leaked already” is an incredible statement to write as a putative journalist (and that’s putting aside all of the well documented connections between trump and Epstein in the public record)
