This reminds me that about 4 years ago Target stores in our area had AT&T reps near the electronics section that would harass you every time you got anywhere near the section.

I eventually switched off of AT&T because I was being actively bothered by a company I was already a customer of.

I feel like a few specialized appliances make way more sense. Some kind of top loading dishwasher with a countertop area you stack your dishes that a single grabby arm can get at them.

And it still won't be worth it for most people.
