Bc of paywall, I could only read the first bit of this article, but people w/in #Japan and beyond have been criticizing Japan’s resistance to 夫婦別姓 for as long as I can remember (I first moved to Japan in the 1990s). The time is long past to make it happen. #ジェンダー
