Maxing out credit cards and neglecting roofs
And there he is, rising up on his hind legs to bravely join in with the bayonetting of the wounded

You clocked onto this nine months ago though, and in light of McSweeney's apparent recent 90-minute meeting with Steve Bannon's mate Maurice Glasman, maybe it's time to revisit this theory? (jonn.substack.com/p/but-whats-...)

I'm sure the pundits are going to try and spin a narrative that it's an out-of-control McSweeney - an outlier in the Labour machinery - that's driven Labour so far to the right, and that without him it would have been and will be sunshine and rainbows, to which I say:

It's good to finally see stuff in the mainstream press on all this (www.ft.com/content/23e9...) (I say finally because I made the below meme over a year ago), but let's see if all the dots are joined or as with recent Noticing on racism the buck only stops half way

The clues were always there. None of this is new, Twitter hasn't fried his brain, it's an orchestrated and well-funded dropping of masks

This by Tim Harford is very "Look at what you made them do", and in an article about how populists over simplify complex issues it seems remiss to mention that Labour's economic growth strategy essentially boils down to "something something red tape and bat tunnels"
