Gotta say, I expected a trashy horror film, and it is in some ways. But somehow that second half or so, it grabbed me hard. I was so invested.

It just feels like a solid season of mystery television, it's good! It doesn't invent anything new, nothing really surprising going on, but just pretty good for the most part.

Took me a little bit to properly get into this, but I quite enjoyed it by the end. It really just keeps escalating made by choice after choice and pulls you in quite well.

Now, I have yet to play the game, nor did I ever really watch much Markiplier if at all tbh. However, the setting, the indie aspect, as well as a big YouTuber putting his money into some film passion project as this, got me interested.

Based on the title, I expected something trashier, sillier, B-movie-er. But instead it's this melancholic drama about this old man. Could've done without that one fight scene but it's still kinda great.

I have no idea what this weird lil film is fully about, and I don't mean it in a bad way. I'm sure I understood some parts of it, but it feels like there's so much more to it than I'm even able to get in one sitting. That being said, it's also just such a gorgeous film.

Just kinda eh.
The first half is like a rushed version of Gladiator and the 2nd half had potential and might even good at times but.. I'd have loved to see the standalone version of this story. The one that wasn't a Gladiator sequel.

2025 was a pretty good year overall. It has some lows for sure, but idk. Job is going well, got my name & gender change official, graduated therapy, living on my own finally. Just a lot of good stuff done! Yay!

I think I used to be much more "ashamed" of my clumsiness & stupid moments. But the past few years I've really come to be more open about it. Just more fun that way :3
