I used to love reading dystopian fiction in high school.

Reaaaaally not enjoying living through dystopian reality as an adult.

Isn’t it weird precedent in the capitalism centre of the world, America’s SCOTUS to force the sale of a foreign company (Tiktok) and take its own citizens’ free speech away based on a bill lobbied for by AIPAC and Meta. All on Biden’s watched who warned of this very oligarchy 🙄.

SCOTUS is wrong. Last year, I voted against the TikTok ban because I feared Congress getting into the business of shutting down media platforms in violation of the 1st Amendment. If implemented, this ban would impact 170 million Americans who use TikTok for news & entertainment.

It's striking how SCOTUS could decide the TikTok ban in a few days but delayed and sat on the question of presidential immunity for months.

The Court can move quickly when it wants to. When it came to ensuring Trump could be brought to trial for Jan. 6, it just didn't want to.

Jan 6th is a reminder to me: cowardice spreads like wildfire… this country needs leaders who are willing to tell the people the truth, not pander to lies
